Objective
To prepare LB media and antibiotic-containing agar plates for bacterial growth and selection, ensuring optimal conditions for plasmid amplification and other downstream experiments.
Materials Required
- LB broth powder
- Agar powder
- Antibiotic selection marker (Ampicillin, Kanamycin)
- Milli-Q water
- Autoclave
- Sterile Petri dishes
- Sterile flasks and bottles
- Laminar flow hood for aseptic handling
