Computational modeling of extracellular vesicle (EV) transport within the vascular and interstitial environments surrounding pancreatic tumors. The objective is to develop two models using COMSOL Multiphysics. One simulates blood flow (via Stokes flow) and EV propagation (via Transport of Diluted Species) in capillaries. The other one the propagation of species at capillary - interstitial environment interface. The models account for tumor-induced effects such as reduced capillary diameter, fibrosis, and abnormal angiogenesis. These modelling provide insight into intra-arterial EVs delivery efficiency under pathological conditions.
