As the core venue for scientific research and teaching, the laboratory entails various risk factors such as chemistry, biology, and radiation. Its safety management is directly related to personnel safety, equipment integrity, and the orderly conduct of scientific research activities. This part introduces how our laboratory takes preventive measures and formulates corresponding defensive strategies.

Team Safety Training, Policy, and Supervisors or Expects: Yujie Li

Each member of the laboratory is provided with personal laboratory coat, which is exclusively used within the laboratory premises. Additionally, disposable nitrile gloves were worn during laboratory operations, and replaced frequently as required.

The laboratory is equipped with specialized waste bins for classifying different categories of waste. Waste contaminated by chemical reagents and other hazardous materials are disposed of in designated waste bins. Prior to using the clean bench, hands are disinfected with alcohol as the initial step. No external items are brought into the laboratory upon entry, and no laboratory items are taken out upon exit. Laboratory coats are also stored in a designated area within the laboratory.

The product is a sugar substitute. It is present in a powdered form and comprises contains safe, non-hazardous ingredients. Nevertheless, excessive consumption of this product is not recommended. If allergic symptoms occur after use, medical attention should be sought immediately.
