A senior, Anna Huang has a passion for genomics, medicine, and food science. In her spare time, she enjoys running the Women in STEM, Culinary, and Future Physician clubs at CSW and taking an active role in iGEM, NIIMBL bioLOGIC, and the Brandywine Conservation Leadership Academy. Going forward, Anna hopes to apply skills from iGEM to a medical career.
Subiksha Srinivasan Vidya

Subiksha Srinivasan Vidya is a senior who is broadly interested in genetic engineering, chemistry, and sustainability. As a rising junior, she performed an independent study at the University of Delaware. She has pursued enrichment activities such as NIIMBL, NASA Tech Rise, First Tech Challenge, Youth Environmental Summit, and Envirothon to further her interest in STEM.

As a senior at the Charter School of Wilmington, Anushree Thirukumaran is passionate about scientific programming and AI. she is undertaking an independent study online with mentors from the University of Pittsburgh. Her love for STEM and public speaking are evident in her participation in extracurriculars such as iGem, the First Tech Challenge, Honour Council, Speech & Debate, NIIMBL, Model UN, and her leadership of the Biomedical Engineering Club.

Elaine Zuo is a senior with a passion for connecting STEM with community service. She participates in various STEM and advocacy-focused extracurriculars such as NIIMBL bioLOGIC, the Delaware Youth Environmental Summit, the Brandywine Conservation Leadership Academy, and Math League. She hopes to apply the skills she acquires from iGEM to a career that would involve engineering and community service.
Ayan Agrawal

I am currently a sophomore with a strong passion for Engineering and Computer Science. I have competed in various competitions such as the First Tech Challenge, Technology Student Association, First Robotics Challenge, VEX Robotics, and a few hackathons. I have also participated in student-driven projects that aim to increase sustainability through the use of hydrogen and participated at the youth environmental summit to speak to fellow enthusiasts about our project. This experience solidified my passion for applying STEM to solve real-world problems, particularly how different sciences come together to solve a unique challenge. I strive to learn and innovate and am excited to participate in iGEM.

Amogh is a junior who is interested in understanding the complexities that underlie impending environmental and health issues in order to make an impact on the world. After learning about iGEM, he joined the team to obtain experience in synthetic biology, which he believes to be the future.

Leonard Dong is a sophomore participating in iGEM to increase his knowledge in STEM and improve his public speaking skills. He is grateful to be a part of the iGEM team and work with other like-minded individuals to create a solution that will change the future for the better.

Asvika Gobinathan is a senior with a passion for genetic engineering, environmental sciences and medicine. She partakes in activities such as envirothon, leadership in the Youth Environmental Summit, NIIMBL, and first robotics during her spare time to further learn about the different sciences. She will be interned at UD on research projects relating to rat studies, neuroscience, and epigenetics. Asvika hopes to gain valuable experience from iGEM which can be used in her future career.

Satya Kokonda is a Sophomore who discovered his interest in the engineering design process from competing in Odyssey of the Mind. He hopes to transfer these skills to find solutions for major issues facing the world. He is the Research Club leader at CSW, and the founder of CompetifyHub, looking forward to share the knowledge gained through his positions. In addition to these, Satya enjoys public speaking and is the president of Stanford Online High School’s debate team. Beyond academics, Satya enjoys soccer and biking. Through various lab experiences and independent research projects, he wishes to hone his research skills to contribute to the betterment of the lives of those around him.

She hopes to apply the skills she has learned from various positions in clubs like being the found of the American Red Cross club at her school, being an active member for YIG, and sophomore rep for Key Club. Competing and placing state-wide and nationally in competitions such as Business Professionals of America, Speech and Debate, and Science Olympiad, she also enjoys playing piano as a soloist and accompanist in her free time. Ruchika hopes to bring a skillset that would positively contribute to iGem.
Christopher Zhuang

Christopher Zhuang is a dedicated junior with a deep passion for biology, computational science, and medical research. Currently working on design and optimization of DNA aptamers to inhibit protein aggregation in Alzheimer's and Huntington's, he is exploring the potential of these molecules as therapeutic tools, utilizing insilico software. Beyond his work in computational biology, he is a member of science olympiad, president of Genes In Diseases And Symptoms, and is applying his skills in USABO, and MIT THINK. Looking ahead, he aspires to purse a career in pre-med and the field of biomedicine and biochemistry, hoping to make meaningful contributions in making life a little bit better for everybody.
