This page details the new basic and composite parts developed by the HongKong-HS Team for the detection of colorectal cancer (CRC) using miRNA-based toehold switches.

New Basic Parts

The following basic parts are regulatory toehold switches designed to detect specific miRNAs (miRNA-92a-3p and miRNA-135b-5p) upregulated in the faeces of colorectal cancer patients.
