Bisphenol A Exposure Analysis System
Bisphenol A:
BPA is an industrial chemical, primarily used to produce polycarbonate plastics (PC) and epoxy resins. Common applications include:
- Plastic water bottles
- Baby bottles
- Can linings
- Food containers
- Dental composite resins
- Color developer in thermal paper
Derived Issues
- BPA can migrate from materials into food and cause health problems even at low exposure levels
- Its structure is similar to estrogen, allowing it to bind to estrogen receptors and disrupt hormonal regulation
- Products containing BPA can be biodegraded, spreading contamination into the environment
So how do we prevent all that?
Introducing Beads — the Bisphenol A Exposure Analysis System.
With this, we are able to prevent the issues that BPA brings while addressing three of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
