No, not Ammonium Rhizospheric Generation Using Soil Bacteria. We're talking about everyone's favourite dog on the IISc campus (except two-wheelers, he'll bark at those without exception). Argus is not the reason our project is named the way it is. We definitely didn't spend days pondering upon convoluted combinations of agricultural terms to make a specific acronym.

Argus walking back with you to the hostel at 4 am, after an arduous day in the lab, often made it all worth it. A majestic figure at times, at others he can be found lazing around near the main building, or getting back rubs in front of the Hostel Office.
