Basic Parts

These basic parts encode the genetic sequences responsible for producing our antimicrobial peptides (AMPs), which were screened for activity against Phytophthora. In addition, some parts were designed to facilitate downstream purification of the expressed peptides.

Summary

Our parts collection consists of both basic and composite parts designed for antimicrobial peptide production and purification. The basic parts encode individual AMPs and purification tags, while the composite parts represent complete genetic constructs for expression and evaluation in Bacillus subtilis.
