Based on the self-introductions of our iGEM team members, we are a vibrant and diverse group of high school students united by a shared passion for biology and scientific innovation. Our team is composed of curious minds from various schools across China, including Beijing, Shanghai, and Shenzhen. While our ages range from 14 to 18, we are all driven by a profound fascination with the natural world. For many of us, this interest began in childhood, whether through observing insects, hiking in nature, or reading biology books. This curiosity has evolved into a desire to understand life at its most fundamental level, from cellular mechanisms and genetics to neural networks and ecosystems.
