David Chen: I am a rising senior at Brea Olinda High School in Brea, California. My favorite subject in school is Biology and Calculus. Outside of school, I've conducted research in FRET based Synthetic Bio at UCR and I am a certified lab assistant.

Johnny Zhu: I'm a rising junior at Yorba Linda High School (YLHS) located in Yorba Linda, California. I'm into chemistry and medicine, and taking an interdisciplinary approach to things. I also love applying my top 10k Clash Royale strategies to problem-solving in the lab. I've conducted research related to aging and lung fibrosis.

Yuna Wu: I am a rising sophomore at Westridge in Pasadena, California. I am the prospective captain of my Lincoln-Douglas debate team, a member of the varsity golf team at my school, and a stage manager for theatre. Equipped with my current hyperfixation on progressive LD and research skills, I aim to study law and international relations in the future.

Xinyuan Zhang (Wet Team): I am a 15 year old rising sophomore at Portola High School (Irvine, California) interested in public health policy/epidemiology. I recently attended a Biotechnology session at Dickinson College, Pennsylvania as part of the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth. Outside of science, I enjoy singing and participate in my school's choir program. (Will get better photo tomorrow)

Daniel Ho: I am a rising senior and I'm on the dry team for MPA_USA. Located in Mercer Island, Washington. I currently serve as a player on the school soccer team. I am actively pursuing machine learning and neuro science. It is my first time attending IGEM, the excitement and the curiosity of exploring new knowledge is driving me crazy.

Ella Wang (wet team): I am in 10th grade in the 2025-26 school year in Portola Highschool, Irvine, Orange County. I am deeply interested in science, especially in biology, psychology and chemistry. For me, these subjects can get the solution directly, they are honest to reflect the work I have done. The fun fact about me is I had 10 different kinds of pets before at the same time.

Jamie He (Wet Team Member): I'm a 15 year old rising sophomore at Portola High School. Originally from China, I'm a provincial golf champion and former student leader. Since moving to the U.S., I have continued to pursue both academic and athletic excellence. I'm passionate about philosophy and psychology, and I'm exploring these fields more deeply by combining Chinese and Western theories.

Yumi Kang is 15 years old, a rising sophomore at United Christian Academy, I am the wet team member of our igem team-MPA USA. I live in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. My interests are illustration, neuroscience and bioengineering. I just attended a summer session in UCLA about sci & art, which was mainly talking about bioengineering with some microscope experiments.

Isabella Jiang: I'm Isabella Jiang, and I'm a rising Junior at Bullis School based in Potomac, Maryland. I'm especially interested in chemistry and biology, and hope to pursue biomedical sciences and business in the future. I also play the violin and enjoy ballet in my free time.

Luna Chen, 16, is a member of the dry team, and lives in Maryland. She's an active participant in School's performance such as musical and dance and a big lover in all kinds of art, she has been invited to the Chinese embassy to perform Chinese dance. Luna plans to dive into business and fashion design minor due to her great interest in fashion development and aesthetic, she ultimately wants to become a fashion brand manager who speaks the language of both the boardroom and the design studio

Liuxi Chen, 16, is a member of the wet team of MPA-USA and is based in Montgomery county, Maryland. She is an active member of the MUN and chess club, and APID affinity group in her school. She is interested in biology, and is considering to become a doctor in the future.

Eric Miao, I am a junior right now. I go to Crean Lutheran High School in Irvine California. I am the varsity kicker on the football team and plays winger for the varsity soccer team. I also play the violin since I was in firsts grade. I am apart of the Business cohort at Crean and I am really excited to meet new people and learn about new things.

Keelia Cao, I'm a sophomore at Yorba Linda High School in Southern California, with an interest in English literature and ecology. I'm the founder of LYEC (Laos Youth Empowerment Club), a nonprofit organization aiming to assist educational growth and boost learning opportunities for children in Laos. Outside of learning, I enjoy traveling and making new connections.

Sophie Haar, a senior at Sidwell Friends School, a dedicated member of the varsity tennis team, and a passionate singer who has won multiple awards and performed at Carnegie Hall. Beyond my artistic and athletic pursuits, I am deeply drawn to marketing analysis, where I explore how innovation, strategy, and creativity shape the future of markets and consumer engagement.
