Since I was a child, I have had a strong interest in natural sciences and animals, and I am full of curiosity and desire to explore nature. In my opinion, biology is the foundation and basis for understanding the essence of all things in the world. By studying biology, we can better understand ourselves and the world. I participate in the IGEM competition hoping to apply what I have learned through genetic engineering, a powerful tool, to practice and contribute to the benefit of mankind. In the academic field, I have accumulated rich knowledge in biology and economics and have a great interest in them. I can provide professional insights and ideas for the team from multiple dimensions. Academically, I’ve done some unsystematic dabbling in China’s Biology League content and also took part in the BBO competition. This iGEM team journey has given me many unexpected insights. To the frontline biological engineers, those “elementary” reference values found during literature searches are their entire research life.
