As we look back on this year of imagining, building, testing, and improving our project, we feel immense gratitude for everything we've been through. What began as a simple idea grew into a project that challenged us scientifically and personally. Each weekend in the lab, each unexpected result, and each moment of discovery shaped a journey we will never forget.
Being selected as one of the Top Ten high school teams at the Giant Jamboree was a moment of immense pride for us. It made us reflect on how far our project had come, from early brainstorming to presenting a fully developed solution. Earning a Gold Medal and receiving multiple nominations affirmed the strength and depth of our work. These recognitions showed us that each part of the project mattered and that our efforts had truly made an impact.
We are grateful to many people who made this possible, including all the late nights and sacrifices made by team members and instructors. We are incredibly thankful for all the support we got from parents and professors alike.
We also thank iGEM for offering a space where young scientists can take risks, collaborate across cultures, and participate in conversations that matter. The 2025 season gave us new friendships, new perspectives, and a deeper understanding of how science can support real-world change.
