As the team leader, I am responsible for arranging the work of each group, coordinating team members, and communicating with the teacher.

Dr. Yumei Hu is an Associate Professor and Master's Supervisor at Hubei University's School of Life Sciences. Her research focuses on biocatalysis and enzyme engineering, particularly enzyme molecular modification and structural analysis of catalytic mechanisms. She obtained her PhD from Tianjin University of Science and Technology, with joint training at the Tianjin Institute of Industrial Biotechnology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Dr. Hu has several national and provincial research projects, including National Natural Science Foundation grants. Her work has been published in top journals such as International Journal of Biological Macromolecules and Journal of Hazardous Materials, and she has received awards like the Tianjin Natural Science Second Prize for her contributions to enzyme engineering research.

Dr. Wenshan Ke is a Professor at Hubei University's School of Life Sciences, where he serves as the Head of the Undergraduate Biology Teacher Education Program and the Graduate Program in Biology Education. His research focuses on plant ecology, biological control of schistosomiasis, and green remediation of heavy metal pollution. With a PhD in Environmental Science from Wuhan University, Dr. Ke has led numerous national and provincial research projects, including studies on molluscicidal plants and ecological restoration. He has published extensively in international journals such as Ecotoxicology and Environmental Safety and PLoS Neglected Tropical Diseases, and holds several patents related to snail control technologies. His work integrates ecological principles with practical applications in disease prevention and environmental protection.

Dr. Zhifan Yang is a Professor and PhD Supervisor at Hubei University's School of Life Sciences. His research interests include molecular biology, synthetic biology, and chiral drug biosynthesis. He obtained his PhD in Life Sciences from Wuhan University and has conducted research as a visiting scholar at the University of Arizona. Dr. Yang has presided over multiple National Natural Science Foundation projects and industrial collaboration programs focused on enzyme engineering for pharmaceutical synthesis. His publications in journals like Frontiers in Bioengineering and Biotechnology and ACS Sustainable Chemistry & Engineering reflect his expertise in applying synthetic biology tools to develop green production processes for high-value chemicals. He is also a member of the "National Huang Danian-style Teacher Team" in Biocatalysis and Enzyme Engineering.

Dr. Haimou Zhang is a Professor and PhD Supervisor at Hubei University's School of Life Sciences, and Director of the "Hubei Famous Teacher Studio". His research areas include biology education and environmental toxicology. He earned his PhD from the University of Ioannina in Greece and has worked as a visiting scholar at Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Zhang is an active member of educational committees, including the Ministry of Education's Teaching Guidance Committee for Biology. He has led major educational reform projects, such as developing national first-class undergraduate courses and constructing innovative talent training models. His contributions to teaching have been recognized with awards like the Second Prize in the National University Teachers' Teaching Innovation Competition and the Huoyingdong Education Award.

Dr. Longhai Dai is a Professor and PhD Supervisor at the State Key Laboratory of Biocatalysis and Enzyme Engineering, Hubei University. His research interests include biocatalysis, enzyme engineering, and enzyme structure-function relationships. He earned his PhD from the Tianjin Institute of Industrial Biotechnology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and has worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Hubei University. Dr. Dai has presided over prestigious projects, including the Hubei Provincial Outstanding Youth Fund and National Key R&D Program sub-projects. His publications in journals like Journal of Hazardous Materials and Applied and Environmental Microbiology demonstrate his expertise in enzyme structure analysis and rational engineering for applications in toxin degradation and biomanufacturing. He has also received multiple provincial talent awards for his academic achievements.

Hello everyone, I'm Jiamin Dai , a student majoring in Biological Sciences with a minor in Physics. I am passionate about applying computational methods—from first-principles to mathematical modeling—to explore interdisciplinary problems in physical biology. My research interests lie in using modeling and simulation to: understand how biological systems respond to dynamic environmental changes and assess their potential risks; reveal the physicochemical essence of structure-activity relationships in biological macromolecules (such as enzymes) at the molecular scale. This is my first iGEM participation, and I look forward to bringing my computational thinking, interdisciplinary perspective, and experience in modeling complex biological systems to the team, exploring the mysteries of synthetic biology together.
