Hi, I’m Sebastian — PI of our iGEM team, science teacher, and lung cancer PhD who brings academic rigor to both experiments and footnotes. I speak four languages, play tennis and pickleball to unwind, and follow politics with the same intensity I grade lab reports. For me, iGEM is the perfect mix of science, structure, and just enough chaos to keep things interesting.

Hi! Three years ago, Ms. Parker and I set up the Synthetic Bioresearch course here at Kang Chiao. Throughout KCIS’s years of participation in the iGEM competition, students have gained a deeper appreciation for the complexity of biological sciences by engaging in experimental design and hands-on research. This is the main purpose of me creating this iGEM program.
