Hello guys here’s Kateli from team NAIS, I’m really into biology which is a subject we discover to see the constitution of all living organisism. The curiosity to this world and the contradiction of life being fragile and tough at the same time attracts me to find out more with the help of biology knowledges. I appreciate the ones who have spirit of inquiry and perseveres in doing a single thing, its my goal to become someone like this, this experience i think, can help me closer to a better me. Health issue bothers almost every one on this planet, except exploring, another attractive point is to provide help to the ones who are suffering, I’m trying to made it as well.

Hello everyone! My name is Zhang Lanxi, I am thrilled to join this biology competition and connect with peers who share the same passion for life sciences. I have always been fascinated by biology, especially genetics and ecology. Reading scientific journals and books like “The Selfish Gene” and “genetic code” has deepened my understanding of life’s mysteries. Beyond academics, I enjoy skiing, a sport that teaches me resilience and teamwork—qualities I believe are crucial for collaborative research. I also joined the BBO club at school and won a bronze medal in the competition. I hope to foster a positive and inclusive club atmosphere through regular discussions and mutual assistance activities. Looking forward to growing and achieving great things together!

Hello, everyone! My name is Melody and I'm from NAIS iGEM team. In my daily life, I'm a baking enthusiast, especially fond of trying desserts from different culture—from the crispness of French macarons to the softness of Japanese soufflés. On weekends, I often share my homemade desserts with friends. When we fail, we analyze the reasons together (like over-whipping the cream), and when we succeed, we record the recipes. Baking has taught me to be patient and observe details, and it has also cultivated my ability to work in a team. I chose iGEM because of its unique openness—there are no standard answers, only real-world problems. I hope that through this experience, I can break out of the framework of textbooks and explore the possibilities of innovation in the environmental or medical fields using biotechnology. At the same time, I also want to learn diverse scientific research thinking from teams around the world.

Hello everyone! My name is Wang Haocheng, and I’m a Year 11 student at NAIS. Since middle school, I’ve been interested on chemistry—it’s like an “art of transformation,” where the rearrangement of atoms and molecules creates endless possibilities. I love exploring the wonders of chemical reactions in the lab, observing the instant changes in solution colors. In the future, I hope to further my studies in chemistry and use the power of science to tackle real-world challenges, such as developing eco-friendly materials or innovative pharmaceuticals.
