Grace Hu
Hello, everyone! My name is Grace, and I'm truly honored to be part of this year's iGEM competition. I'm currently studying in Ningbo British International School, in grade 9 (year 10). As I fly through my school journey, I found that I'm a student with a profound and insatiable curiosity for the world of science and technology, which has led me to develop a deep - seated passion for three fascinating fields: chemistry, biology, and computer science.
Chemistry, for me, is like a magical realm where I explore the fundamental building blocks of matter. Biology, on the other hand, is the study of life itself. From the intricate workings of cells to the complex ecosystems that sustain our planet, I'm constantly amazed by the beauty and complexity of living organisms. These two subjects are ones that gave me passion and drove me into this fascinating competition.
Beyond the classroom, l've actively participated in mathematics competitions, including the Math Kangaroo and the American Mathematics Competition (AMC). These experiences have been invaluable in honing my logical thinking, problem - solving, and time - management skills.
I'm extremely excited to be part of the iGEM community. I believe that this competition offers a unique platform to apply my knowledge, collaborate with like-minded individuals from diverse backgrounds, and contribute to innovative solutions that can have a real - world impact.
