Inclusivity
Explore how we designed, tested, and refined our efforts to bring reliable science to an often-overlooked group: the elderly. Guided by the iGEM cycle of design–build–test–learn, we transformed our initial ideas into a practical, inclusive program that addresses the real barriers older adults face in accessing scientific knowledge. From expert consultations to community interviews, and from surveys to interactive lectures and TikTok videos, we continuously iterated on our approach. Our journey highlights not only how inclusivity can be engineered step by step, but also how youth teams can bridge generations and make science more accessible, trustworthy, and impactful.
