A master of design and videos, Emma is the colorful soul behind all our communication materials. For her, iGEM was the perfect opportunity to combine creativity with scientific skills. Rumor has it, she’s already been contacted to help Steven Spielberg with his next movie.

Leïla is the one who keeps track of everything that comes in and out of the lab, making sure experiments run smoothly every day. Her conscientious mindset has been essential in enabling the team to carry out its work successfully… and rumor has it, she can even tell which pipette went on vacation last week! HTML, CSS, JavaScript, but also PCRs, CRISPR, ORFs … Candice is a mastermind in all of these acronyms. Halftime wetlab, halftime coding, she juggled experiments while designing our Wiki… Rumor has it she spoke in code before she even learned our language.

Augustin knows his way around lab figures, but he’s even better with the ones on our bank account. Human Practices truly found their meaning with Morganne leading the way. Just as she knows how to connect with people in everyday life, she also knows how to make our project accessible to the general public… rumor has it, she could explain CRISPR to a goldfish.

Julien is responsible for modeling our project, simulating each step to predict outcomes and help shape the design. His work has been key in giving the project structure and guiding our experiments… rumor has it, he keeps a crystal ball next to his laptop just in case the simulations aren’t enough. Florian built bridges with companies, giving our project a professional twist and securing the partners who shaped it. Without him, our engineered bacteria would still be homeless but thanks to his collaborations, they now live happily in beads.
