Hello! I’m Sharon, and I’m 15 years old (currently transitioning from grade nine to ten). I’m especially thankful to someone very important,my 14 years old self! Thank you for choosing to participate in iGEM. This experience has taught me so much, not only about synthetic biology but also about teamwork and project management. One thing I’d like to say is that I never imagined I could do something like this. But joining iGEM opened my eyes to new possibilities and gave me the confidence to take on new challenges. Now, I think it’s a good time to introduce myself again. So, hello! I’m Sharon. I have a few hobbies, such as playing the cello, especially with my friends and creating traditional Chinese paintings. These activities shape who I am and help define me as “Sharon”, and Sharon’s journey is still continuing :)

Yunjia Yao
Hi someone who's reading my information! I am Jessie, a G10 student in Tsinglan school and I am so glad to participate in our iGEM team. In this year, we were not only preparing for the compedition, but also learn how to make a great relationship with other. The most valuable things in iGEM is that it taught us a lot of information which won't be learnt in our high school. This experience deepened my understanding of the lab information & knowledge and reinforced the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration in synthetic biology.

Hey, I'm Amanda! I'm into a bit of everything, like playing the flute, hitting a tennis ball, traveling somewhere new, trying out recipes, and dancing around my room. I'm super passionate about public health, nutrition, and neuroscience. My experience with iGEM was amazing because it finally taught me what real scientific research is really like. And honestly, all that hard work and pain totally scared me straight, so I'm pretty sure a future as a researcher is not for me (just kidding).

Yuqin Chen
Hihi I'm Stella, don't ask more about me, cuz I google myself and find nothing :)

Hi, my name is Jason from Tsinglan igem team,I’ve always been passionate about biology and biochemistry, especially the thrill of hands-on experimentation. Participating in my school’s advanced lab program deepened my love for lab work, where I honed techniques and learned to appreciate the precision and creativity behind scientific discovery.Joining iGEM has been an incredible journey—it’s where my enthusiasm for experiments truly came alive. From mastering new lab protocols to troubleshooting unexpected results, every moment in the wet lab has been both challenging and exhilarating. Beyond techniques, iGEM taught me how synthetic biology bridges science and real-world problems, turning abstract concepts into tangible solutions. Wish our team can get top ten at the final.

Bonjur!I'm Isabella who is a G8 student from Tsinglan school. I am so appreciate that I can start a journey with my friends in a field that we both really interested in. In the iGEM team, I realized that we are not only learned about the biology knowledge and also leraned how to manage time, communicate with teamates, etc. I hope we can have a good time in future work and Paris. God bless Top 10 with us!!

Zitiong Jenny Wu
Hi everyone! (≧∇≦)ノ I’m Jenny Wu, a 15-year-old girl from Tsinglan School! In our team, I was part of the Dry Lab and handled most of the artwork. Outside of iGEM, I love drawing, watching anime, and cycling. I truly cherished the time I spent creating art for iGEM, but what made me even happier was the unforgettable memories with my teammates—like those late-night wiki-writing sessions, designing our team T-shirts together, and going off-campus for education outreach. These moments are irreplaceable! As my first time joining a global competition, I’ll admit I’m nervous… but way more EXCITED! Paris, TOP 10—we’re coming for you!!! Let’s go, Tsinglan! ( *`ω´)
