These bio-components are easily degraded by environmental proteases, avoiding polluting underground water and soil for long-term. Meanwhile, our project uses genetic engineering to optimize predicting process, reducing harmful by-product in chemical synthesis, and reduces damage to water bodies and ecosystems, directly responds to the goals of reducing water pollution and protecting water-related ecology.
- 6.6 Protect and restore water-related ecosystems, including mountains, forests, wetlands, rivers, aquifers and lakes: Exterminatrix using bio-materials (eg. plant-derived EcTI protease inhibitor and degradable hecate) to substitute traditional highly toxic and high-residue chemical pesticides. - 8.2 Achieve higher levels of economic productivity through diversification, technological upgrading and innovation, including through a focus on high-value added and labour-intensive sectors: Exterminatrix relies on genetic engineering technologies (eg. high-efficiency expression CYP450-BM3 mutant enzyme and optimization of plasmid regulating EcTI expression) achieving low-cost, large scale production achieving productivity improvement derived by technological innovation. We focus on retail warehouses and forestry markets in termite-prone areas such as Guangdong, Through a four-level distribution and direct sales model, it covers both B-end and C-end customers, suitable for regional small and medium-sized enterprise quickly entering the market and accumulating cash flow. Through utilizing waste paper recycling to produce cellulose, we improve the resource recycling rate, reducing cost of raw materials, linking economic activity to environmental degradation.

14. Conserve and sustainably use the oceans, seas and marine resources for sustainable development

- 14.1 Prevent and significantly reduce marine pollution of all kinds, in particular from land-based activities, including marine debris and nutrient pollution: Exterminatrix contains bio-agents with high degradability, reducing pollution residue entering ocean from the land significantly, thus minimizing the potential harm to marine organisms. While traditional pesticides easily enter water bodies through soil infiltration and surface runoff, ultimately pollute marine ecosystem.
- 14.2 Sustainably manage and protect marine and coastal ecosystems to avoid significant adverse impacts, including by strengthening their resilience, and take action for their restoration in order to achieve healthy and productive oceans: Exterminatrix contains bio-agents with high degradability, reducing pollution residue entering ocean from the land significantly, thus minimizing the potential harm to marine organisms.
