This gallery displays creations from our educational activities, showing how art can help explain and share our project in fun and approachable ways.

First, we present our bacteria - agar art, which are drawings made on plates using one bacterium from our project. This unusual way of presenting bacteria allowed the public to see GMOs in a new, creative, and unexpected way.

Draw a Bacterium with Superpowers!

During our scientific workshops at schools and exhibitions, we asked children to draw a bacterium with a plasmid inside, giving it a superpower of their choice.

In this way, we tried to explain synthetic biology to children in a fun and approachable way. Some understood really well, others caught glimpses of the idea, and some simply did their best!
