The Challenge

About one in five people worldwide are allergic to cats.

Sneezing, watery eyes, or asthma often come between love and companionship.

For millions who adore cats, allergy means distance — a quiet barrier that science can help to lift.

The Root Cause

Most allergic reactions come from Fel d 1, a protein in cat saliva and skin.

Common drugs only mask the symptoms.

At FeliSilence, we aim at the source — reducing allergen production itself, to make coexistence safer and simpler.

Our Solution

We use RNA interference to silence allergen genes such as Fel d 1, Fel d 2, Fel d 4, and Fel d 7.

Short hairpin RNAs temporarily “switch off” these genes without altering DNA.

It’s reversible, non-editing, and cat-friendly — a gentle way to quiet allergy at its origin.

Our Vision

Through 700+ surveys and expert interviews, we learned how cat allergy affects families.

FeliSilence connects science with empathy — creating a future where everyone can love cats freely, without sneezing or separation.
