Experiments
To ensure that our project is transparent, reproducible, and well-documented, we maintained a structured workflow for recording our experiments. Every day, all laboratory work was carefully noted in our Notebook. For each experiment, we documented the objective, the team members involved, and the protocols and kits used. This systematic approach allowed us not only to track our progress but also to reflect on our results and improve our methods over time.
In addition to our physical and digital Notebook, we also used a dedicated eLab portal. This platform served as a central hub where all experimental data, updated protocols, and analyzed results were uploaded and continuously updated. The eLab ensured that every member of the team had access to the latest information and that no details were lost in the fast-paced environment of the laboratory.
By combining daily entries in the Notebook with the structured digital archive in the eLab, we created a comprehensive record of our project. This dual system provided clarity, traceability, and accessibility, which are essential both for the internal workflow of the team and for sharing our work with the wider iGEM community.
