On the evening of October 31st (Paris time), the 2025 International Genetically Engineered Machine (iGEM) Grand Jamboree commenced at the Paris Convention Center, uniting more than 4,600 participants from over 400 global teams & projects. At this globally acclaimed gala, the HiZJU-China team from Zhejiang University, secured the Gold Medal and won the nomination for the Safety and Security Award with its highly innovative project design and compelling on-site presentation. This accomplishment adds another brilliant chapter to the team's history and fully demonstrates their strong scientific research capabilities and youthful spirit of Zhejiang University’s students.
