I'm Zichao He, one of the student leaders of HiZJU-China 2025. This year's project has been the most challenging one in recent years, but I'm truly glad that all members of our team have made it to the end. Thank you to all HiZJUers who shared this rewarding journey of exploring synthetic biology with me.
My name is Shanyi Zheng, and I'm majoring in Bioengineering. This is my second year participating in iGEM, and also the first time I've led an experiment. We encountered many difficulties but still tried to solve them, and gained a lot of knowledge, skills and insights in the process. iGEM has facilitated my growth, and it will also support the growth of every subsequent iGEMer!
I'm Lefei Lou, majoring in Bioengineering. It's a great honor for me to join HiZJU. Here, I have gained a lot of knowledge in biological experiments and techniques that I had no exposure to before. Through many challenges and failures, we have shared friendship, courage, experience and achievements together. In this extraordinary iGEM journey, I'm looking forward to the vast ocean of stars in the future.
Hi, I'm Zihe Zhu, a sophomore majoring in biomedical engineering. This is my first time participating in an iGEM program, and I am the youngest in my team. I am mainly tasked with building the AND gate module. In the process, I have learned a lot about synthetic biology from my senior lab members.
Hello, I'm Jiarui Zhu, a sophomore majoring in Biological Engineering. This is my first time participating in iGEM, and i'm responsible for the design and testing of biosafety part in our project. Since having no prior experience in scientific research and experiment, I have received a great deal of assistance from others.
Hello there! I'm Hanyan Ma. In our iGEM team, I'm tasked with building the AND gate module and handling Hardware stuff. Also, I'm the guandan champion of the team! Joining iGEM has been super awesome—I'm learning tons about synthetic biology, and getting to hang out and play guandan with such cool teammates makes it even better.
Hello, my name is Dingcheng He. I major in bioengineering. As a member of our iGEM team, I am responsible for biosafety and some hardware-related tasks. I am lucky to have met such outstanding teammates, working together to tackle one challenge after another. Their diligence and ideas in scientific research have deeply influenced me.
I'm Zhang ding, major in biological engineering. In the iGEM team, I mainly tasked with constructing the AND gate module and also participated in the protein modifying module. During this fabulous summer, I've gained extensive knowledge about synthetic biology, and sharing precious memories, like barbecues and cards playing, with our delightful teammates.
I'm Wang Zixin, a bioengineering student and a magician. Doing experiments is like magic, I never know what comes next and why it happens. I'm responsible for the amplifier and feedback module experiments. It's an honor to participate in iGEM. It really reformed my view of bioengineering and synthetic biology.
Hi there! I'm Cheng Ke, majoring in Agronomy. I have a huge passion for synthetic biology and medicine, and I love (and truly hope) that everything I do can make a positive difference in the world. As part of the HiZJU-China team, I mainly focus on protein engineering—every attempt brings new gains, and it’s such a rewarding journey!
Hello everyone, I'm Dang Xu. I'm looking forward to communicating and learning with all of you to make progress together.
Hi, I’m Cai Tianyi — the team’s dedicated graphic designer and part-time all-round supporter 🌟. Joining this bioengineering competition is both a challenge and an exciting opportunity to collaborate across disciplines. I’m here to visually showcase the hard work and brilliant results of our team — making science not only seen, but also felt!
Hi, I'm Yue, a junior student majoring in biological sciences. This is my first time joining iGEM, as an attempt to try something new outside my comfort zone. And it turns out that I did learn a lot as well as communicate with students from different majors through this experience.
Hi! My name is Yu Cai, a sophomore majoring in Pharmacy. iGEM is the first international competition I have participated in, where I am mainly responsible for the protein engineering module. Through this experience, I have not only gained substantial knowledge in bioengineering but also became proficient in the process of CADD.
Hello everyone, I'm Shuhan Jiang, majoring in Robotics Engineering. In the HiZJU-China team, I mainly take charge of the hardware-related work. I designed and built a turbidostat platform, which is used for genetic circuit testing. I'm honored to work with all of you to complete the entire project, and I also want to thank everyone for your help and support.
Advisors
Hi, I'm Xinyang Wang. This is my third year in iGEM, acting as the team advisor. I am truly grateful that iGEM has accompanied me through these invaluable university years and inspired me to continue creating in the field of synthetic biology. Looking forward to our team's outstanding performance this year!
A four-year veteran iGEM player, a self-proclaimed wizard of the synthetic biology dark arts, an ectomorphic fitness newbie struggling to gain weight, and a badminton killer.
Hi, I'm Xutong Chen, a bioengineering student and a card game aficionado. I help with plasmids construction and computer simulation. This is my first time to participate in iGEM competition, and It's my great honor to attend this grand event of synthetic biology. I hope to learn something from it.
