Hello everyone, I'm Yuhan Tang from HWFLA. From a young age, I've been deeply fascinated by biology. Watching "Animal World" on TV sparked my curiosity and led me to explore the fascinating world of biology. Now in 10th grade, I've accumulated a wealth of biological knowledge. This journey made me realize the need for a platform to showcase my achievements and growth over the years.
Participating in IGEM has been a turning point for me. It not only highlighted gaps in my biological knowledge but also opened doors to new areas of exploration within the field. I hope our experimental results can contribute innovative ideas that benefit humanity. I'm grateful to IGEM for providing this incredible platform to showcase my abilities and further my passion for biology.

I am a person that is interested in every academic area. I am trying to improve my personal ability in this chance. Biology is important subject in the modern society. Hello everyone, I am Zhang Wenqian from Haidian Foreign Language academy . Since learning about biology in high school, I have been very interested in biology and environmental protection. Teachers often tell us to become citizens of the world, and I am very fortunate that the iGEM competition has given me the opportunity to learn more advanced knowledge and contribute to environmental protection work.The iGEM competition has also helped me improve my learning ability, enabling me to complete learning tasks more efficiently and quickly. It also developed my leadership skills, allowing me to work with my teammates to build a stronger team. I am fortunate to be able to participate in iGEM!
Lian Yuehang- Team Member
Hello everyone, I'm Gavin Lian from HaiwaiTengfei school. When I was young, I was very interested in observing different type of animals especially marine organisms like their structure, how they hunt or their extraordinary characteristics. This made me intrigue the interests on biology. I start to read and watch many materials about biology when I grew up, I really hope I could do many facinating experiment in the future. My dream satisfied when I join iGEM competition, during the experimental process, I learn many new things like how to use different types of equipments, or how to cultivate bacteria and so on. During the process, I experience some trouble too, I add the wrong primer to my sample And have to do the whole process again. This remind me that I must pay full attention during the experiment or else small mistake could creat large trouble later on. iGEM not only widen by knowledge views , also it helps me gain more methods to study. Thanks iGEM for providing such opportunity to proatice myself and I will spend more efforts on the road of exploring.

Hello everyone, I'M Jiming Yang from HWFLA school. When I was a child, I was intested to our surrounding insects, such as ants or bee, I can even observe them for a whole afternoon.Now I take part in IGEM. I learn a lot of things from the previous classes. For example how to use the pipette gun or rocking tube, it's all interesting. But I also notice that I still have a lot of things need to improve. This give me the chance to learn more field of biology which can enlarge my knowledge.
Thank IGEM for giving me a chance to stand on a larger platform and show myself. I will do my best to do all the research study and experiment.
Liu Minghe- Team Member
Hello everyone, I am Robert Liu from HWFLA team. I have always had a profound interest in biology. When I was young, I would often spend time in the yard observing tiny ants and snails. Additionally, in my leisure moments, I would watch documentaries about biology, such as "Planet Earth" and "Life," which significantly fueled my fascination with living organisms. These documentaries made me even more attentive to the creatures and their environments around me. When I entered junior high school, my school began offering biology classes, where I learned some basic concepts of biology, including the fundamental classification of organisms and the various systems of the human body. I believe this period was crucial as my interest in biology flourished, and I benefited immensely from reading several books on the subject. Upon joining iGEM, I gained deeper insights that complemented my existing knowledge base, such as a more thorough understanding of nucleic acids and plasmids. During the build phase, I even conducted some experiments hands-on, like preparing culture media, performing PCR experiments, and verifying results through agarose gel electrophoresis. These experiences have amazed me at the wonders of biology and technology.
Angel Ge- Team Member
hi! I'm Angel, a high school student at HWFLA. I have had a keen interest in biology since childhood. Since I entered high school, I participated in the CNAD team competition and majored in biology, which enabled me to learn a lot of biological knowledge, including classical biological theories and the current cutting-edge biotechnology. From this, I realized that biology is a discipline to understand the world from the perspective of summarizing macro phenomena to the microscopic changes of several molecules. Since attending iGEM, through intensive experiments and various dry laboratory practices, I have once again had the opportunity to explore more deeply the amazing field of biology and the integration of biology and society across many disciplines. Hopefully, our project will bring to this society what biology can do. A big thank you to all my teammates who supported me and again to iGEM for giving us a valuable opportunity to put our ideas into practice.

Hello everyone, I'm Ruby Liu．I have always been passionate about biology and hands-on experiments, and more recently, I became deeply fascinated by economics, which led me to join this project. Initially, I participated in group experiments, and later I took on the responsibility of writing and improving the project Wiki, specifically focusing on the Education section.I also frequently introduced our work to students of various age groups, helping them gain a deeper understanding of the subject. It has been a rewarding experience to share knowledge and inspire curiosity in others. I am grateful for the opportunity to contribute and look forward to collaborating further with everyone.

Hello everyone, I'm Ruiyang Li from HWFLA school. Since I was a child, I have been deeply fascinated by the wonders of nature. I loved watching documentaries about the natural world and was particularly captivated by the diversity of small animals, from insects to marine life. This early curiosity sparked my passion for biology and inspired me to explore the living world in greater depth.
Now, as a participant in the IGEM competition, I am thrilled to take my interest to the next level through synthetic biology. During the training sessions, I have learned a lot about using various lab instruments, such as pipettes and rocking tubes, as well as gained foundational knowledge in synthetic biology experiments. These experiences have been both challenging and rewarding, and I am eager to continue improving my skills and expanding my understanding of this field.
I am truly grateful to IGEM for providing me with this incredible platform to learn, grow, and contribute to the scientific community. I am committed to giving my best effort in all research and experiments, and I look forward to collaborating with my team to achieve something meaningful.

Hello everyone, I'm Sunny Yi from HWFLA school. When I was a child, I'm very interested in medicine science. That sparked my passion of biology and let me try more on biology. Now, I join in to IGEM competition, I finally get a chance to chellange myself, in the training, I learn things like how to do PCR. This experience is chellange but also harvest a lot. The IGEM competition is the guide on my journey of exploring biological knowledge. Once upon a time, biological knowledge was a distant and abstract concept to me. However, on the stage of IGEM, through countless experiments and numerous discussions, I have transformed abstract knowledge into tangible understanding and truly grasped the mysteries of the biological world. This rare experience is a precious treasure bestowed upon me by IGEM, and I will always remember it and hold a heart full of gratitude.

My name is Li Tianyi from Beijing Haidian Foreign Language Tengfei School. As a year 11 student, I'm deeply passionate about biomedical. I have a solid foundation in this field and enjoy exploring new knowledge. I love deepening my understanding of life sciences through experiments and reading, especially in the study of cell structures and biomolecules. And I will keep learning deep in biology and chemistry in Alevel after IGCSE studies. In my spare time, I would like to do horse riding and play table tennis.

My name is Michelle Muxiao Wang. I'm interested in studying psychology. I like to do some sports in my spare time, including equestrian, kayaking, ocean sailing, snowboarding and so on. Very interested in music, like to wear cheongsam and other Chinese traditional clothing. I have a very outgoing personality and like to participate in social gatherings (some very lively occasions).
