I've always been drawn to how gene editing can tackle "impossible" problems—like modifying microbial genomes to break down plastic waste, or refining gene therapies to target rare genetic disorders. These aren't just abstract ideas to me; they're puzzles I want to solve by digging into lab work, designing experiments, and iterating on results. In the iGEM competition, I work side by side with teammates who also yearn to turn bold ideas into feasible science. I keep learning from setbacks and contributing to this journey of transforming "crazy" potential into tangible progress.
