Hello everyone, I'm Yoyo Bi, a Year 10 student. I'm really excited to be part of the 2025 iGEM team. By nature, I tend to listen more and speak less, so I'm eager to contribute in my own quiet way. My long-term goal is to pursue a career in surgery—I'm drawn to its precision, problem-solving challenges, and the opportunity to make a tangible difference in people's lives.
In my free time, I enjoy watching surgical procedure videos or diving into suspenseful TV series. Piecing together clues and solving puzzles makes me feel like I'm diagnosing a real case. I also love baking; I find it calming to follow a recipe, measure ingredients precisely, and see a finished product come together. At home, I have two dogs and a turtle—caring for them has taught me patience, attention to detail, and how to stay calm during little,“emergencies,” like a tipped-over water bowl or a stubborn turtle refusing to eat.
I hope to bring that same level of care and focus to our team, and I'm really looking forward to working with all of you.
