The PROTATO KIT Air Assembly is a portable, all-in-one device for collecting, grinding and testing. It enables convenient, efficient, and safe detection of tomato leaf samples. To facilitate our users' better application of PROTATO for Pst detection, we have developed the following user manual.
Detection
- Open the top cover of the kit and take out the grinding rod.
- Place the tomato leaf sample inside the device.
- Secure the top cover with the grooves.
- Add the pre-prepared buffer solution through the reserved feeding port.
- Start grinding to thoroughly crush the leaf sample.
- Unscrew the bottom reaction room to remove the grinding system and the container system.
- Attach the lid with the detection electrode to the reaction container.
- To identify the results, wait and check the light on the device. If the sample is infected, the circuit will light up as an alarm.
App Usage
- Establish a connection: Launch the mobile application and select your desired device. Ensure that your hardware device is connected to the same local Wi-Fi network as your mobile phone.
- Data monitoring: Real-time data is presented in visual graphs on the screen, allowing you to monitor glucose concentration levels. The app also provides access to historical data for review.
Safety
- A reverse-thread structure is designed in the container system to prevent accidental loosening during handling, ensuring operational safety.
- After detection, guanidine hydrochloride solution can be added into the reaction room via a one-way valve to safely handle biochemical waste.
