	Student Leader: Junqi Guo My name is Junqi Guo/Jerry Klein, a Grade 11 student from Jinan Foreign Language School. I’ve been maniac in science since my childhood and it would be a great pleasure for me if there’s a chance to become a genetic engineer in the future. Dedication and determination are shown in my path of learning. I hope that one day every single creature on this planet can be modified by gene technology. Errors that evolution has not revised would be erased forever, full potential of every species could be reached and no one ever will suffer from genetic disorders. Witnessing that day would not satisfy me, I aim to contribute to the dawn of that era.
	Student Leader: Baohang Huang My name is Noel, a high school student from Jinan. I have many interests such as dancing, running, swimming, and I love using cameras to record my life. Therefore, I am responsible for the graphic and photography departments in the team, as well as being the team leader. Also, I am a super planned ENTJ. I have a great passion for biology and I want to study public health area in the future. Finally, I also hope to find like-minded friends to learn biology together!
	Student Leader: Ziyu Li I'm the girl who always has snacks in her bag, sings terribly in the shower, and laughs way too loud in quiet places. My perfect day? Sleeping in, devouring a good book (mysteries + rom-coms FTW!), then hanging out with friends over boba tea. I do pretty well in school （I secretly like learning), but my real talents include: Memorizing every Taylor Swift lyric，Taking 100+ sunset photos ，Making friends with strangers' pets Oh yeah – I also love science (biochemistry is my nerdy passion and future major)， but mostly I just love people，want to chat about K-dramas, travel dreams, or why pineapple definitely belongs on pizza? Let's make some memories – and maybe even study together (but only if we take snack breaks).
	Student Leader: Yishan Li Hi! I’ m Yishan Li. Currently, I’m a senior high school student with a passion for biology and psychology. Over the past few years, I’ve focused on blending creative ideas with practical solutions. Last year, I joined a team to finish a project of iGEM, I learnt a lot and that experience taught me the power of collaboration. Beyond work, I have so much hobbies, such as travelling and singing. I consider music as a soulmate, especially hip-hop which often inspires my work. I’m a quick learner and thrive in dynamic environments. It’s a pleasure to be here, and I’m excited to connect, learn, and maybe even share some ideas with you all.
	Student Leader: Jundong Niu My name is Jundong Niu, learn in Jinan Foreign Language School who passionate about synthetic biology. Eager to apply molecular biology skills and creative thinking in iGEM, I excel in specific skill: e.g., lab work, data analysis. Collaborative and solution-driven, I’m excited to contribute to innovative projects addressing real-world challenges. I’m glad to learn and grow with our team!
	Student Leader: Jingxiang Feng I am Jingxiang Feng, a student from Jinan Foreign Language School International Center who want to study in biology and chemistry later. Both enjoying history and biology, I have a great passion for learning forward. With an optimistic outlook, endless curiosity, and steadfast persistence, I approaches every challenge with a grin, ready to dive back into the game.
	Xintong Ji Hello everyone. I am an individual who derives fulfillment from dance and maintains a keen interest in biochemistry. The rhythmic expressions of dance, particularly within the realm of K-pop, serve as a significant source of inspiration for me. Concurrently, I dedicate time to exploring the intricacies of biochemistry, where the study of molecular interactions and reaction principles continues to captivate my attention. These two pursuits, though distinct in nature, both contribute to my personal growth and sense of purpose.
	Yawen Liu Hello! I’m Yawen Liu from the International Center of Jinan Foreign Language School. You can also call me by my English name, Latoya. Since middle school, I've developed a strong interest in biology. This passion has helped me understand how living organisms work and fuels my desire to explore deeper knowledge in the field. In my spare time, I enjoy swimming, watching TV shows, and dancing. Recently, I've also taken up baking. Creating delicious food brings me delight, and receiving praise from friends gives me a great sense of achievement.
	Yihan Liu Hello，my name is Yihan Liu from Jinan Foreign Language School. I come from Hunan, but I grew up in Jinan. I am very interested in painting. It helps me capture the beauty in life and also relieves stress. I also like to play badminton and I play badminton with my friends almost all the PE class. Sometimes we watch badminton matches together. I am passionate about biology since I started studying it in junior high school. I am driven by a strong passion to pursue further academic accomplishments which can benefit to the human society in the field of biology.
	Lanyi Shan I love biology. It’s amazing to learn about how living things work. Watching tiny organisms in nature makes me want to find out more. I also like sports. The focus and never-give-up attitude from playing sports help me in everything I do. I think working with others is important, something I learned from sports. I want to use my love for biology and the discipline from sports to give my best.
	Zitong Song As a high school student, I am extremely excited to participate in this year's iGEM competition. I am well aware that opportunities to expand the boundaries of knowledge, learn professional theories, and engage in practical work are particularly precious for us young people. I have a profound passion for the fields of biology and chemistry. Every time I take part in practical operations, I can always immerse myself in the wonders of the microscopic world, and the joy of hands-on exploration keeps me constantly enthusiastic. By participating in this competition, I look forward to growing through practice and, more importantly, I am eager to acquire more novel and meaningful knowledge, continuously enriching my understanding and capabilities.
	Jiayi Sun My name is Jiayi Sun, from the International Center at Jinan Foreign Language School. I enjoy drawing and singing. Through my participation in iGEM, I hope to gain deeper insights into synthetic biology and connect with like-minded peers from around the world.
	Haoting Xing Hello, everyone! My name is Haoting Xing, and you can call me Sivan. I’m INFP, I think I am a kind and interesting man. My favourite subject is mathematics and psychology, at the same time, I read some biological magazine. I am passionate about reading and I enjoy thinking alone after reading. In my free time, I love feeding some animals, like jumping spider and hermit crab, which helps me stay virtuous and energized.
	Fanghao Xu Hello; I’m Fanghao Xu from Jinan Foreign Language School International Center. As a 16 year old girl, I have a deep love for biology, a subject always guides me to discover mysterious and fascinating facts. The process of doing experiments and studying new theories of biology brings me joy and satisfaction. In my spare time, I am crazy about rap music, and my favorite rapper is Travis Scott. I also really enjoy dancing. Swimming and playing table tennis are what I am most proficient in. In my leisure time, I would watch some soccer matches with my besties, and my favorite players are Kaka and Neymar. Hope I can get an unforgettable experience with you.
	Jiaming Zhang Hello everyone, I'm Jiaming Zhang from Jinan Foreign Language School’s AP Program, 16. Biology became my passion when I first observed cell division under a microscope in middle school—that moment sparked curiosity about life’s intricate systems. In teams, I thrive collaborating to solve problems: designing experiments or analyzing data. I love linking classroom knowledge to real scenarios, like exploring ecological relationships or debating biotech ethics. My AP biology studies strengthened my genetics and physiology foundation, and I’m eager to apply these skills in competition. 	Lingfei Zhang Hello everyone! I’m Cassie, a 16-year-old Grade 11 student at Jinan Foreign Language School International Center. Fueled by a profound passion for biology—with a particular focus on public health—I am eager to deepen my expertise in this field and enthusiastic about engaging in knowledge exchange with diverse individuals. Practical proficiency stands as one of my key strengths. I actively partake in laboratory sessions and scientific projects at school, where I derive great satisfaction from translating theoretical concepts into tangible experiments. As an outgoing individual, I thrive on collaborating with peers and building connections, as I firmly believe teamwork is a catalyst for innovative thinking. Over the years, diligence and perseverance have become integral to my daily endeavors. Beyond academics, I embrace versatility. I’ve dedicated years to ballet and piano, holding a Level 10 certificate and winning several awards. 	Jinke Zhong As a passionate high school student, I’m excited to contribute to the 2025 iGEM competition as part of a team that blends innovation with scientific rigor. I’ve always been curious about how biology can be engineered to solve real-world problems. My interests span neuroscience, synthetic biology, and interdisciplinary research. I enjoy turning complex ideas into accessible concepts and exploring how science can connect with everyday life. Outside the lab, I’m actively involved in philosophical discussions and scientific outreach, aiming to make learning more engaging for younger students. Joining iGEM is not just about competing，it’s about learning, collaborating, and pushing the boundaries of what young minds can achieve through teamwork and creativity.
	Yuxuan Zhuang Hello! I am Yuxuan Zhuang, a student from Licheng No.2 High School in Jinan. I have a passion for biology and am committed to using biological knowledge to seek sustainable solutions. I am fascinated by how genetic engineering can address global challenges such as environmental remediation and public health. As a first-time participant in iGEM, I am enthusiastic about synthetic biology and look forward to contributing to our team.

Yu Wang

As the PI of ICJFLS and AP Biology teacher, I am happy to pass on my love of Biology to my students and devoted to establish their knowledge network and thinking system of this subject and to guide them to further exploration. In my class, students do not only focus on the textbook knowledge, but also talk about how to use what we have learned to improve this world. This iGEM topic is another exploration to benefit others, and I will always be with them to give them support.
