Call for earlier Detection of Alzheimer's Disease and foster brighter connections with TauTrack
Over 55 MILLION people worldwide are living with dementia, and Alzheimer’s disease accounts for 60-70%of these cases (WHO, 2023).
In China alone, from
1990 to 2021 the
incidence of
Alzheimer's Disaser
occuring increased by
242.5%
Alzheimer'sdiseaseis the leading cause of dementia worldwide, driven by abnormal proteinbuild-up, including amyloid-β and tau, in and around brain cells. BD-tau(brain-derived tau)is a newblood-based biomarker that outperforms plasma total-tau and showss pecificity to Alzheimer's disease,
Current Method
Current methods for detecting Alzheimer’s disaese rely oncerebrospinal fluid (CSF) test s and PET brain scans. While mostly accurate, these approaches are not easily accessible, invasive, and expensive, which limits their use for early diagnosis and widespread screening.
Our Method
With the specificity of BD tau(brain-derived tau) to Alzheimer’s Disease, using an high affinity aptamer can effectly reflect brain damage caused by Alzheimer's disease and reliably distinguish it from other neurodegenerative disorders, offering a less invasive and more accessible diagnostic tool.
Our Method’s Advantages:

ACCURATE

LESS INVASIVE
