Hello! I am advising iGem for the second year now. I come from a physics background, and my current research is focused on understanding how bacteria adapt to stress and low growth conditions. I enjoy building and making things, and have designed several custom-built microscopes over the years.

Hi, my name is Lacie Low, and I am a wet-lab teaching assistant for the 2025 U of R iGEM team and will be going into my second year as a PhD student in Biology. A quick fun fact is that I recently adopted a little kitten named Sebastian! I am very excited to see what everyone achieves this year!!
