Hello everyone, I’m Shangyi Yang, a third-year Pharmaceutical Analysis student and the teamleader of SYPHU-China. I approach research with equal parts curiosity and skepticism—methodical,detail-oriented, and uncompromising about scientific rigor and reproducibility.
I lead our dry-lab modeling efforts, specializing in constructing virtual cell frameworks and developing computational models of drug delivery systems. I translate biological hypotheses into quantitative frameworks through explicit assumptions, careful parameterization, sensitivity analysis, and validation against experimental or literature data. Version-controlled code, thorough documentation, and reproducible pipelines are non-negotiable parts of my workflow.
I enjoy collaborating closely with wet-lab colleagues to turn model predictions into testable experiments and iterating based on cross-disciplinary feedback. It’s a privilege to guide this motivated, professional team as we advance synthetic biology with intellectual integrity and practical impact.
