Primer for the use of Computational intelligence

Primer for the use of Computational intelligence for mathematical modeling of biological systems

The present section of our project is a primer to use two methods out of three of the original branches of Computational intelligence (CI), this are, Evolutionary computation (EC) focused on multi-objective optimization (MOO) and artificial neural networks (ANN) for machine learning (ML), for applications in bioengineering. Our aim is to promote the use of these tools for other iGEM teams and share protocols to ease the process learning of this CI. In this document we provide a basic but solid theoretical principle of CI methods, and by providing complementary code for the examples that can be easily adapted to other types of data or problems.
