Hello, we are the iGEM Team IISER Berhampur 2025!
Our team name, Poseidon, stands for Phytoprotein-Optimized System for Environmental Ion DetoxificatiON. It reflects our mission to harness plant-based proteins for detoxifying harmful ions in the environment, combining innovation with sustainability. Just as Poseidon, the Greek god of the seas, governs the waters and maintains balance, our project aims to restore environmental harmony through carefully designed biological solutions. With this vision, we strive to transform research into real-world impact and contribute to a cleaner, safer planet.
