I often reminisce about my younger self and frequently use anti-aging skincare products to minimize the traces of time on my face.
Due to work demands, I often wear heavy makeup, which is harsh on my skin, necessitating frequent skincare.
We researched anti-aging products online and discovered that most contain a common ingredient Astaxanthin
But what's remarkable is that
skincare products containing Astaxanthin are of superior quality command higher prices compared to those without it
We then reviewed relevant materials and discovered that Astaxanithin is primarily synthesized through two methods
Haematococcus pluvialis, the main algae for natural astaxanthin, produces it only under stress (e.g., high temperatures). During synthesis, it forms thick cell walls that hinder extraction and is easily infected by the fungus Paraphysoderma sedebokerensis during cultivation. Natural
